Cycling is a bit like voting for the opposition, many believe that it will improve their quality of life, however there are not enough people doing it to make it worth getting out of bed early on a day off. There were, however, hundreds of Cape Town cyclists for whom neither the Mothers City’s torturous topography, nor temperamental weather was enough to keep them out of the saddle.
