This week, I had the pleasure of a day off; and decided to indulge in a City Sightseeing Day Tour. The amazing camaraderie among complete strangers on the way to the next stop (Eagles’ Nest, a recently opened wine farm in the Constantia Wine Valley) showed me even more why i really enjoy doing tours on the City Sightseeing bus.
Not only did the City Sightseeing blue bus tour allow me to see the wonderful views of Constantia valley, but also to experience the rich history that this area has. Join me as I explore the Groot Constantia manor house.

The maiden voyage of the Cape Town Night Tour gave a wonderful experience to 100 lucky people this Friday 29 October 2010. City Sightseeing launched this special Night Tour of Cape Town to add to its already running two day-time tours: the Red City Tour and the Blue Mini Peninsula Tour that offer breathtaking views of our magical city and the Peninsula. The Night Tour gives a magical experience of Cape Town with stunning sunsets.
Yet another great trip on a City Sightseeing Cape Town bus, this time on the Blue Mini Peninsula Tour. I simply cannot compare the two bus tours, as the variety of sights and information is so different on each. My friend, Simone, joined me for the day, and being as photo crazy as I am, it turned out to be a day of laughs and silliness as we enjoyed the view. It was nice to find the same, very helpful tour usher on the bus again.
Just recently I had the pleasure of doing the Blue Mini Peninsula Tour on one of the Cape Town City Sightseeing open top buses that operate in and around the city. The audio dialogue, on board service and driver were excellent, but the thing I was most impressed by was the view.
