Cape Town in a 360° wide-eyed view from Table Mountain – STOP 13
November 6, 2009 – 1:30 pm | 3 Comments
Waiting for the Aerial Cablecar to come down and take us to the top on a windy but sunny and beautiful day in the Cape. It was Ruth-Anne's 1st trip to the top of Table Mountain and she just loved the wind blowing on her face.

By far the best way to see the sights of the city is to do it on the City Sightseeing bus. Easy! Not only do you not have to look for parking at every stop, but you don’t have the hassle of packing up the pram and putting baby in and out the car. Relief! Today we have boarded the Red City Tour bus. Baby is having her morning nap. Our host has secured her pram using special long seat belts. I use the opportunity to sit downstairs and listen to the onboard commentary. As we travel through each of the various stops, I listen to facts and folklore about the Mother City. Interesting! There are 14 languages to choose from and even an English kids channel.

Special Double Decker Deals keep families entertained during the July holidays
Cape Town, South Africa, July 2009 – Contrary to the belief that the City Sightseeing Cape Town bus is for tourists only, it was only after a chance encounter and a bored 9 year old during the July holidays that I succumbed and decided on a local city trip on the big red double decker bus.
