A Family Outing to Remember

Wow, the trip was amazing. What started off seeming like an unenjoyable day for a topless tour at stop 1 due to the weather; and a nagging husband; turned out to be the most enjoyable, informative cloudy day.

The weather cleared up even more, and warmed up as we neared Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens (Bus Stop 20 on Blue Mini Peninsula Tour).

I have never enjoyed a history lesson quite as much as I did with the commentary. We truly felt like tourists in our own town, we live in Upper Woodstock and drive that route everyday and yet we take it for granted. But after my Blue route experience never again will I.

The District Six and Khoi stories were exceptionally heartfelt and close to home as I’m in a multiracial/inter faith marriage, therefore my husband, being a malay, could relate and said every word was true. He loved it!

I must admit… I switched over to the kids station quite a few times, much fun indeed and I thoroughly recommend it to adults too!

I have NEVER seen my girls, ages 4 and 8, sit so still! And so attentive! I never had to reprimand them, not one nag nor cat fight.

Well done and thank you very much City Sightseeing for the experience! I will definitely be doing it again real soon!
